Coaches

Who We Are

The Monarchs coaches are a dedicated team of over 100 coaches with years of experience in professional basketball settings. Our coaches work with over 1200 children at any given time.

Our head coaches have at least 5 years of experience and extensive knowledge of the sport. From university athletes to professional players, our love for ball is contagious — we want to help with youth of the GTA experience, learn and grow as athletes.

Types of Coaches

DEVELOPMENT COACHES

As a development coach, you work with youth from ages 4-18 assisting or leading in the instruction of basketball. If you played or coached basketball in high school, at a club level, or college, you are the ideal candidate. Part-time, weekends and evenings.

 
 

League Coaches

As a league coach, you will coach in one of our Monarchs leagues: Boys City League, Girls League, or Boys Varsity League. Previous experience playing at a minimum of high school level is needed to be successful. Part-time and on the weekends.

Rep/aau Coaches

As a Rep/AAU coach you will be working with kids who are more experienced in a controlled practice environment, and coaching them at a much higher level with more in depth knowledge of the game.

Rep/AAU coaches are considered more intermediate and have a much more knowledgeable background of the game (Playing/Coaching numerous years) . As a rep coach you will be guiding a young group of kids, and pushing them to help them achieve their goals of playing basketball at a more elite level (College/Pro).
